Abstract: a recording device includes a recording section configured to record an image on a medium transported in a transport direction f based on image data and a control section the recording section includes an ink head configured to eject pigment ink onto a fabric material of the medium and a curing process head configured to eject curing process liquid that cures the fabric material in a state in which the fabric material is permeated. the control section executes a first control for recording the image onto the medium by ejecting the pigment ink by the ink head and a second control for ejecting the curing process liquid onto the curing target area of the medium by the curing process head.
