Abstract: the present disclosure provides a lid for a container. the lid can include a handle, a handle body, a lid body, a gasket support, and a gasket. the handle can be movable between a raised position and a lowered position. the lid body can include a top portion and a bottom portion. the bottom portion can have a coupling section and a frustoconical section. the gasket support can be disposed between the top portion and the bottom portion. the gasket support can be movable along the frustoconical section between an expanded position and a contracted position by a movement of the handle. the gasket can include an interior surface circumscribing and abutting the gasket support. the gasket can be elastically deformable between a sealed position and an unsealed position by a movement of the gasket support.
