Abstract: laparoscopy point of access and removal devices, laparoscopy systems, and methods of use. such a laparoscopy point of access and removal device includes a cylindrical sidewall including an interior wall and an exterior wall, and a cap attached to the cylindrical sidewall, enclosing a top portion of the cylindrical sidewall forming an interior cavity of the laparoscopy point of access and removal device. the cap includes a first access port configured to accept a shaft of a linear stapler and a circular stapler into the interior cavity of the laparoscopy point of access and removal device. the laparoscopy point of access and removal device is configured to be attached to a wound protector-retractor for use during laparoscopic surgery.
