METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ESTIMATING POSE OF ENDOSCOPIC SCOPE

Abstract: according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, there is disclosed a method of estimating a pose of an endoscopic scope that is performed by a computing device including at least one processor. the method includes estimating the pose of an endoscopic scope based on the pose information of a drive unit configured to control the movement of the scope by using a backlash model in which control parameters have been identified for backlash that occurs in the scope.
