Abstract: disclosed is an aerosol generating device using capacitive touch sensing. the aerosol generating device using capacitive touch sensing comprises a housing, an aerosol outlet, a cartridge, a heater, a controller, and a touch sensor, wherein the touch sensor transmits contact area information to the controller, and the controller may adjust a power value applied to the heater on the basis of the contact area information.
