Abstract: a control system mounted on a vehicle controls communication with a device including a detector that generates an electromagnetic field around an antenna in a first mode in which the detector operates under a first condition, and detects disturbance of the electromagnetic field based on change in impedance of the antenna, a communicator that outputs information for a device associated with the vehicle to its surroundings by using near field communication, in a case where disturbance is detected, and a counter configured to count the number of times the information is output, where there is no response even though the communicator outputs the information, in which the detector shifts to a second mode which operates under a second condition in which power is consumed less than in the first condition, where a result of counting by the counter within a preset first period exceeds a preset number of times.
