Abstract: a dryer including a heating unit configured to heat a medium, a drying furnace at which the heating unit is disposed and that is configured to dry the medium, and a transport unit configured to transport the medium in the drying furnace, wherein the transport unit includes a first support portion that supports the medium at an inlet side end portion in a transport direction of the medium of the drying furnace, a second support portion that supports the medium at an outlet side end portion in the transport direction of the drying furnace, and a third support portion that supports the medium at a position between the first support portion and the second support portion in a transport path of the medium of the drying furnace, and the third support portion is configured to be movable in a vertical direction.
