Abstract: a reciprocating saw is described. the aerial limb saw is a reciprocating saw comprised of a housing, a saw system, an angled clamp, and a battery adapter. contained within the housing are a gear box, a motor, and a wireless control relay. the gear box is mechanically connected to the motor. a saw blade chuck is attached to the gear box. the saw system is comprised of a saw blade and a grip bracket. the saw blade is connected to the gear box via the saw blade chuck. the grip bracket is attached to a front surface of the housing. the battery adapter is attached to a rear surface of the housing. a portable rechargeable battery connects to the battery adapter. the battery adapter and the motor are both individually electrically connected to the control relay. the angled clamp is attached to a bottom surface of the housing.
