Abstract: an object of the present disclosure is to provide a novel golf ball cover material from which a golf ball showing a high spin rate on short iron shots and a low spin rate on driver shots is obtained. the present disclosure provides a golf ball cover material having a loss elastic modulus (e″) in a range from 6.50�10pa to 22.0�10pa at a measuring temperature of −40� c., and a loss elastic modulus (e″) in a range from 3.50�10pa to 7.10�10pa at a measuring temperature of −20� c., when measured using a dynamic viscoelasticity measuring apparatus under following measuring conditions:
