Abstract: the present invention provides a non-swallowed, antacid chewing gum tablet comprising various antacid components with improved organoleptic properties. the invention also provides an extrusion process for obtaining the non-swallowed, antacid chewing gum tablet as well as the use of the extruded chewing gum tablet as an antacid medicament, and for the prevention and/or the treatment of antacid diseases.
