METHOD OF PROVIDING BIOMARKER AND DISPLAY DEVICE PERFORMING THE SAME

Abstract: a method of providing a biomarker on a display device includes displaying an initial guidance image that guides a user to place a finger on a sensing region of the display device. a first photoplethysmography (ppg) signal is generated by performing a ppg sensing operation when the finger is located in the sensing region. at least one tilt guidance image is displayed that requests to tilt the finger in at least one direction. at least one second ppg signal is generated by performing the ppg sensing operation when the finger is tilted in the at least one direction. an optimal ppg signal having a highest signal quality is selected among the first ppg signal and the at least one second ppg signal. the display device then displays a biomarker of the user determined based on the optimal ppg signal.
