An example method includes receiving first indication information, where the first indication information indicates a first technology stack type corresponding to a first application. The method further includes establishing, based on the first indication information, a transmission channel that is based on the first technology stack type. The method further includes sending or receiving at least one of signaling or data of the first application through the transmission channel.
