A range imaging device includes a light receiving unit including pixel circuits each including a photoelectric conversion device, charge storages, and transfer transistors, and a pixel driver circuit that distributes and stores charge in the storages at storage timing synchronized with emission of light pulse, a light source unit that emits the pulse, and a range image processing unit that measures distance to subject based on quantities of charge stored in the respective storages. The range image processing unit detects, without emission of the pulse, interference light based on difference between maximum and minimum values of quantity of interference charge stored in each storage, in cycle and the storage timing same as those with emission of the pulse, before the distance is measured, and the range image processing unit changes emission timing of the pulse and storage timing and measures the distance in response to detection of the interference light.
