A printing apparatus including a storage container that stores a liquid used in printing processing and executing the printing processing, includes an acquisition unit acquiring reuse information on a reuse history of the storage container, a generation unit, when the printing apparatus includes a recycled storage container as a recycled product of the storage container, generating contribution information related to a contribution amount to an environment with use of the recycled storage container based on the reuse information, and a device control unit controlling a display device to display the contribution amount based on the contribution information.
