Patterns are less likely to appear on a surface of a plate glass including a low-emissive film and a protective film that protects the low-emissive film. The coated plate glass includes: a plate glass; a low-emissive film that is disposed on the coated surface and includes a metallic layer and a dielectric layer; and a protective film that contains silicon oxide. The thickness of the protective film varies at respective points. The deviation with respect to the minimum limit size of the thickness at each point falls within the range of a tolerance of the thickness at the corresponding point. The tolerance is a value of 10% or less of the minimum limit size. When the glass is observed on the protective film, the color difference between the points where the thickness of the protective film is a maximum limit size, and the minimum limit size is 3.5 or less.
