Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, providing immersive media to a computing device over a network utilizing a first network slice, a first spectrum resource allocation, and/or a first RAT; obtaining a metaverse profile associated with the user, which includes information defining or associated with user capabilities and content presentable in the immersive media; processing or initiating a different network slice, a different spectrum resource allocation, and/or a different RAT based on the metaverse profile; and continuing providing the immersive media to the computing device.
