A catheter assembly includes: a catheter member including: a catheter having a lumen, and a catheter hub located at a proximal end of the catheter; a needle member including: an inner needle located in the lumen of the catheter, and an inner needle hub located at a proximal end of the inner needle; a catheter operation member attached to the catheter member; and a safety member configured to be movable with respect to the inner needle in an axial direction of the inner needle.
