STATOR FOR ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18836433 titled 'STATOR FOR ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE
Original Abstract Submitted
A stator for a rotating electrical machine including a stator core having a plurality of slots; and a stator coil formed by installing, for each phase, coil pieces along an entire circumference of the stator core. The stator coil is wound in such that two sets of coils are connected in parallel for each phase, and is wound by short pitch winding. For each phase, each of a circumferential coil center of a first set of the coils and a circumferential coil center of a second set of the coils either coincides with a coil center position for each phase, the coil center position being formed at each magnetic pole pitch along the entire circumference of the stator core, or is alternately shifted by the same amount toward one side and the other side in a circumferential direction with respect to the coil center position for each magnetic pole pitch.
