A moving plate includes a peripheral wall portion disposed along an inner surface of a hood portion of a male housing , a plate body for positioning a tab inside the hood portion , and an escape portion that extends through the peripheral wall portion in the thickness direction. The female housing is disposed inside the peripheral wall portion . Either the female housing or the hood portion has a protrusion , and the other one has a recess . In a fitting state where the female connector and the male connector are fitted to each other, a base end side of the protrusion is disposed inside the escape portion , and a distal end side of the protrusion is fitted and positioned in the recess
