The aerosol generating device includes: a pipe having an elongated shape defining an insertion space, wherein the pipe comprises a bottom portion positioned relative to a lower portion of the insertion space; and a heater configured to heat the insertion space, wherein the bottom portion is recessed downward relative to the insertion space.
