The electrical component includes a substrate and one or more corrosion-resistant vias Each of the one or more corrosion-resistant vias includes one or more sidewalls formed by the substrate an interface layer disposed on at least a portion of the one or more sidewalls, and gold alloy bonded to the interface layer.
