A flat curled cord is formed by winding an insulated wire into a helical shape, the insulated wire including a conductor and an insulation coating covering the outer periphery of the conductor . The insulated wire is a flat wire including the conductor and the insulation coating along an axial direction each having a flat cross-sectional shape. Flat surfaces, which are outer side surfaces of the flat wire along a width direction of the flat shape, are facing outward and inward of the helical shape.
