ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING DRIVING ELEMENT - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18649332 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING DRIVING ELEMENT
The abstract describes an electronic device with a housing that allows for sliding movement, a display that extends based on this movement, and a driving element that provides the force for the sliding action.
- Housing comprises a first and second housing, guiding the sliding movement of the first housing.
- Display extends based on the sliding movement of the first housing.
- Driving element includes a shaft structure, arm structure, elastic structure, and link structure.
- Shaft structure has a shaft and a sliding portion for relative sliding.
- Arm structure includes a first arm connected to the first housing and sliding portion, and a second arm connected to the second housing and sliding portion.
- Elastic structure has a spring surrounding the shaft to provide elasticity to the sliding portion.
- Link structure consists of a first link connected to the shaft and the first arm, and a second link connected to the shaft and the second arm.
Potential Applications: - Mobile devices with sliding displays - Compact electronic gadgets with extendable components
