DIELECTRIC CERAMIC COMPOSITION AND CERAMIC CAPACITOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18646513 titled 'DIELECTRIC CERAMIC COMPOSITION AND CERAMIC CAPACITOR

The dielectric ceramic composition in this patent application includes an oxide (I) of A, R, and B, with a tetragonal tungsten bronze type structure. A contains K and Ba, R is selected from La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Y, and Sc, and B is selected from Nb and Ta. B is present in an amount of 4.75 mol to 5.25 mol with respect to 2 mol of A, and the total molar fraction of A, R, and B is 0.975 or more with respect to all metal elements in the composition.

  • The composition includes an oxide with a tetragonal tungsten bronze type structure.
  • A contains K and Ba, while R is selected from a group of lanthanides and B is selected from Nb and Ta.
  • The amount of B is carefully controlled with respect to A, and the total molar fraction of A, R, and B is specified.
  • The composition is designed for specific dielectric properties in electronic applications.
  • This innovation offers a unique combination of elements to achieve desired dielectric characteristics.
