Display Method and Electronic Device - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18624574 titled 'Display Method and Electronic Device
The abstract describes an electronic device that uses an augmented reality (AR) application to display real-world objects collected by a camera in the viewfinder picture. The user can generate a mask to block a first object and project a three-dimensional representation of a second object onto the mask.
- The device utilizes an AR application to display real-world objects in the viewfinder picture.
- Users can create a mask to block a specific object in the viewfinder picture.
- A three-dimensional representation of a second object can be projected onto the mask.
- The second object is within the field of view range of the area where the first object is located.
- This technology enhances the user's AR experience by allowing them to interact with and manipulate real-world objects in the viewfinder picture.

Original Abstract Submitted
An electronic device may display, by using a viewfinder picture in an augmented reality (AR) application interface, an object that is in the real world in which a user is located and that is collected by a camera. The user may enable, by performing an operation, the AR application to generate a mask in an area in which a first object is located in the viewfinder picture to block the first object. Then, a three-dimensional representation of a second object is projected onto the mask, where the second object is in a field of view range of the area in which the first object is located.
