Original Abstract Submitted

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for improved optimization of operations of a processing plant. In this regard embodiments optimize, at a plantwide level, operations of a processing plant that utilizes rundown blending to optimize target parameter(s) while ensuring that product specifications of volumes of target products to be produced will be met within particular production durations of product runs. Some embodiments project operational constraints for upstream components, such as multiple headers, to achieve such optimal operations based on current properties and volumes of current products in rundown blenders of a processing plant, and product plan data for any number of target products to be produced over a future period of time.
