THROMBECTOMY SYSTEM WITH LOADING BAY DOORS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18604956 titled 'THROMBECTOMY SYSTEM WITH LOADING BAY DOORS
The patent application describes thrombectomy systems with a console featuring loading bay doors. The console includes removable panels, a door assembly, a carriage assembly for a pump/catheter assembly, and linear actuators for door movement.
- Removable panels enclose the internal structure of the console.
- Door assembly allows access to the interior of the console.
- Carriage assembly receives and holds a pump/catheter assembly.
- Linear actuators move the door assembly between open and closed configurations.
- Linear movement of actuators translates to rotational movement of the door assembly.
Potential Applications: - Medical facilities for thrombectomy procedures - Emergency response vehicles for on-the-go treatments
Problems Solved: - Facilitates easy access to the console's interior - Streamlines the setup and operation of thrombectomy systems
Benefits: - Improved efficiency in thrombectomy procedures - Enhanced accessibility for medical personnel
Commercial Applications: Title: "Innovative Thrombectomy System for Enhanced Medical Procedures" This technology can be utilized in hospitals, clinics, and emergency medical services to improve patient outcomes and streamline thrombectomy procedures.
Prior Art: Readers can explore existing patents related to thrombectomy systems, medical consoles, and door mechanisms in medical equipment.
Frequently Updated Research: Stay informed about advancements in thrombectomy technology, medical device design, and procedural efficiency to enhance patient care.
Questions about Thrombectomy Systems: 1. How does the console's design impact the efficiency of thrombectomy procedures? 2. What are the potential cost-saving benefits of using this innovative thrombectomy system?
Original Abstract Submitted
Thrombectomy systems including a console having loading bay doors. An illustrative console may comprise a plurality of removable panels enclosing the internal structure of the console, at least one door assembly, a carriage assembly configured to receive a pump/catheter assembly and disposed within the interior of the console and accessible via the at least one door assembly, and at least one linear actuator coupled to the at least one door assembly. The at least one door assembly may be movable between an open configuration configured to expose an interior of the console and a closed configuration configured to enclose the interior of the console. Linear movement of the at least one linear actuator may be translated to rotational movement of the at least one door assembly.
