COMBINATION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A COMBINATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18581841 titled 'COMBINATION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A COMBINATION
The abstract describes a patent application for a baler combination that includes a towing vehicle and a baler connected by a drawbar. A control unit is linked to the drive system of the towing vehicle, baler, and an actuator. The actuator can adjust the angle between the drawbar and the baler. The control unit can move the baler combination from a first position to an unloading position, unload a bale at the unloading position, and return the baler combination to the first position.
- The baler combination includes a towing vehicle and a baler connected by a drawbar.

Potential Applications: - Agriculture: for baling hay, straw, or other crops. - Waste Management: for compacting and baling recyclable materials. - Logistics: for compacting and baling goods for transportation.
Problems Solved: - Efficient baling process with automated control. - Improved maneuverability and flexibility in baling operations. - Streamlined unloading process for bales.
Benefits: - Increased productivity and efficiency in baling operations. - Reduced manual labor and physical strain on operators. - Enhanced control and precision in baling processes.
Commercial Applications: Title: "Automated Baler Combination for Efficient Baling Operations" This technology can be used in agricultural settings, waste management facilities, and logistics companies to streamline baling processes and improve overall efficiency.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does the actuator adjust the angle between the drawbar and the baler? 2. What are the key advantages of using a control unit in a baler combination system?
Original Abstract Submitted
A baler combination includes a towing vehicle and a baler pulled by the towing vehicle by means of a drawbar. A control unit is connected to a drive system of the towing vehicle, the baler and an actuator. An angle between the drawbar and the baler is able to be set and/or adjusted by the actuator. The control unit is operable to control the drive system and/or the actuator such that the baler combination is moved from a first position to an unloading position, to actuate the baler such that a bale is unloaded at the unloading position, and to actuate the drive system and/or the actuator such that the baler combination is moved back from the unloading position to the first position.
