AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18547119 titled 'AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
The patent application describes an air conditioning system that includes an air conditioner for adjusting the temperature of the air in a room, a humidifier for humidifying the temperature-adjusted air, a plurality of transfer fans for transferring air in the room to multiple habitable rooms, and a controller for controlling the humidifier.
- The controller acquires information on detected humidities of air in rooms at predetermined time intervals.
- When the detected humidity changes from a first humidity to a second humidity, the controller causes the humidifier to switch to and execute a second humidifying control based on the second humidity.
- The controller continues to execute the first humidifying control if the humidity difference between the first and second humidities is more than a threshold value.
Potential Applications: - Residential air conditioning systems - Commercial HVAC systems - Industrial climate control systems
Problems Solved: - Efficiently controlling humidity levels in multiple rooms - Ensuring optimal comfort and air quality for occupants
Benefits: - Energy savings through precise humidity control - Improved air quality and comfort for occupants - Enhanced system performance and longevity
Commercial Applications: Title: Advanced Humidity Control System for HVAC This technology can be used in various commercial settings such as office buildings, hotels, hospitals, and shopping malls to provide superior air quality and comfort for occupants while optimizing energy efficiency.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does the controller determine when to switch between first and second humidifying controls? The controller switches between controls based on the detected humidity levels in the rooms. 2. What are the advantages of having multiple transfer fans in the air conditioning system? Multiple transfer fans help distribute air evenly to different habitable rooms, ensuring consistent comfort levels throughout the space.
Original Abstract Submitted
Air conditioning system includes: air conditioner adjusting temperature of air in room; humidifier humidifying temperature-adjusted air; a plurality of transfer fans transferring air in room to a plurality of habitable rooms; and controller controlling humidifier. Controller acquires information related to detected humidities of air detected in rooms at a predetermined time interval, when the detected humidity is a first humidity, causes the humidifier to execute first humidifying control, and when the detected humidity changes from the first humidity to a second humidity differing from the first humidity, causes the humidifier to switch to and execute a second humidifying control based on the second humidity in a case of a humidity difference between the first humidity and the second humidity being less than or equal to a threshold value, and to continue to execute the first humidifying control in the case of the humidity difference being more than the threshold value.
