INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18546599 titled 'INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes an information processing unit with a CPU that displays an operator associated with a job setting on a display unit. The CPU can receive a retaining instruction to keep the operator displayed while the job is being executed, and if the job is discontinued, the CPU cancels the retaining instruction.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • Information processing unit with a CPU displaying operators associated with job settings.
  • Ability to receive retaining instructions to keep operators displayed during job execution.
  • Automatic cancellation of retaining instructions if a job is discontinued.

Potential Applications: This technology could be used in various industries where operators associated with job settings need to be retained during job execution, such as manufacturing, logistics, and data processing.

Problems Solved: This technology addresses the issue of losing important operator information during job execution, ensuring that operators are retained for reference even if a job is discontinued.

Benefits:

  • Improved efficiency in job execution by retaining important operator information.
  • Enhanced accuracy in completing tasks by keeping operators visible throughout the job.
  • Reduced risk of errors by ensuring operators are not lost during job execution.

Commercial Applications: Potential commercial applications include software development for information processing units, integration into industrial automation systems, and incorporation into data management software for businesses.

Questions about the Technology: 1. How does the technology differentiate between different operators associated with various job settings? 2. What measures are in place to ensure the security of retained operator information during job execution?

Original Abstract Submitted

An information processing unit includes a CPU , in which the CPU displays an operator associated with a setting of a job on a display unit , and in a case in which the CPU receives a retaining instruction, which is an instruction to retain the operator associated with the setting of the job without erasing the operator from the display unit while the job is being executed, and after the receipt of the retaining instruction, in a case in which the job that is being executed is discontinued, the CPU cancels the retaining instruction for the discontinued job.
