DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18424051 titled 'DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS
Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes a method and apparatus for data transmission using binary phase shift keying (BPSK) mapping and coding modulation.
- The sending device converts a bit sequence into a symbol sequence using BPSK mapping.
- Coding modulation is then applied to the symbol sequence based on a generator matrix or a subset of the generator matrix.
- The resulting coded symbol sequence is transmitted to a receiving device through a channel.
Key Features and Innovation:
- Utilizes BPSK mapping for data transmission.
- Implements coding modulation based on a generator matrix or a subset of the matrix.
- Enhances data transmission efficiency and reliability.
Potential Applications:
- Wireless communication systems.
- Satellite communication.
- Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
Problems Solved:
- Improves data transmission accuracy.
- Enhances signal robustness in noisy environments.
Benefits:
- Increased data transmission reliability.
- Improved signal quality.
- Enhanced communication efficiency.
Commercial Applications: Wireless communication equipment manufacturers can integrate this technology into their products to improve data transmission performance, leading to better user experience and increased market competitiveness.
Questions about Data Transmission Technology: 1. How does BPSK mapping improve data transmission efficiency? 2. What are the potential challenges in implementing coding modulation based on a generator matrix?
Original Abstract Submitted
A data transmission method and a related apparatus. A sending device performs binary phase shift keying BPSK mapping on a to-be-transmitted bit sequence to obtain a first sequence. The sending device performs coding modulation on the first sequence based on a generator matrix or a first sub-matrix including some rows of the generator matrix, to obtain a symbol sequence. The sending device sends the symbol sequence to a receiving device through a channel.
