SEMI-PERSISTENT SCHEDULING AND COMPRESSION ADAPTATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18297300 titled 'SEMI-PERSISTENT SCHEDULING AND COMPRESSION ADAPTATION
The abstract describes methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications, where a user equipment (UE) can transmit a control message indicating semi-persistent (SP) resources for multiple wireless devices scheduling within a set of resource reservation periods. The UE may measure channel conditions of a channel associated with the SP resources during a first resource reservation period, adapt a compression parameter of signals to be transmitted based on the channel conditions, and transmit compressed signals to the multiple wireless devices.
- User equipment (UE) can indicate semi-persistent (SP) resources for multiple wireless devices scheduling.
- UE measures channel conditions during a resource reservation period and adapts compression parameters for signals based on these conditions.
- Compressed signals are then transmitted to the multiple wireless devices.
Potential Applications: - This technology can be applied in wireless communication systems to efficiently schedule resources for multiple devices. - It can enhance the performance and reliability of wireless networks by optimizing signal transmission based on channel conditions.
Problems Solved: - Efficient resource allocation for multiple wireless devices. - Improved signal transmission based on real-time channel conditions.
Benefits: - Enhanced network performance and reliability. - Optimal resource utilization for multiple wireless devices.
Commercial Applications: Title: "Optimized Resource Scheduling for Wireless Networks" This technology can be utilized in telecommunications companies to improve network efficiency and provide better service to customers. It can also be integrated into IoT devices to enhance connectivity and data transmission.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does this technology improve resource allocation in wireless networks? 2. What are the key advantages of adapting compression parameters based on channel conditions?
Original Abstract Submitted
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a control message indicating semi-persistent (SP) resources for multiple wireless devices scheduling within a set of resource reservation periods. The UE may measure one or more channel conditions of a channel during a first resource reservation period of the set of resource reservation periods, the channel associated with the SP resources for the multiple wireless devices. Additionally, the UE may adapt a compression parameter of one or more signals to be transmitted to the multiple wireless devices during the first resource reservation period based on the one or more channel conditions and may transmit, to the multiple wireless devices, one or more compressed signals generated based on the compression parameter and the one or more signals.
