DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18279048 titled 'DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
The present disclosure introduces a display substrate and a display apparatus in the field of display technology, aiming to address existing technical challenges. The display substrate consists of a base substrate with sub-pixels arranged in an array at intervals. Adjacent sub-pixels are separated by a spacer region, which includes a functional first spacer region and a non-functional second spacer region. Some functional positions within the spacer region have functional parts, with the width of the first spacer region between adjacent sub-pixels being greater than that of the second spacer region. The width of the spacer region is defined as the shortest distance between the boundaries of the two corresponding sub-pixels.
- The display substrate features sub-pixels arranged in an array on a base substrate.
- Spacer regions separate adjacent sub-pixels, with functional and non-functional sections.
- Functional positions within the spacer region contain functional parts.
- The width of the first spacer region is greater than that of the second spacer region.
- The spacer region width is determined by the shortest distance between sub-pixel boundaries.

Original Abstract Submitted
The present disclosure provides a display substrate and a display apparatus, belongs to the field of display technology, and at least partially solves one existing technical problem. The display substrate includes a base substrate, and sub-pixels in an array at intervals on the base substrate; wherein the adjacent sub-pixels are provided with a spacer region therebetween; the spacer region includes a first spacer region having a functional position, and a second spacer region having no functional position; at least some functional positions are provided with functional parts; and a width of the first spacer region between two adjacent sub-pixels arranged along the first direction or the second direction is greater than that of the second spacer region between two adjacent sub-pixels arranged along the same direction; wherein a width of the spacer region is equal to a shortest distance between boundaries of the two sub-pixels corresponding to the spacer region.
