ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE GENERATED DYNAMIC VIRTUAL BACKGROUNDS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18093421 titled 'ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE GENERATED DYNAMIC VIRTUAL BACKGROUNDS

The abstract describes a patent application for a system that generates and transmits virtual backgrounds for online meetings based on participant requests.

  • The system receives a request for a virtual background from a participant, generates one or more virtual backgrounds using an image generator, and transmits them to the participant.
  • The system then receives a selection of the virtual background from the participant, which is used to train the image generator for future requests.
  • The system can also receive requests from other participants for the virtual background, and transmit the background or text used to generate it to them.

Original Abstract Submitted

A request for a virtual background is received from an endpoint of a participant who is participating in an online meeting. The request includes a description of the virtual background. One or more virtual backgrounds are generated using an image generator based on a command that includes the description of the virtual background. The one or more virtual backgrounds are transmitted to the endpoint. A selection of the virtual background from the one or more virtual backgrounds is received and the selection is used to train the image generator. A request to use the virtual background may be received from a second participant of the online meeting and the virtual background or text used to generate the virtual background may be transmitted to the second participant.
