DEPLOYMENT OF A MULTI-TECHNOLOGY-STACK APPLICATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18063664 titled 'DEPLOYMENT OF A MULTI-TECHNOLOGY-STACK APPLICATION
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a method for deploying specific instances of applications registered in a registry by retrieving code from the registry and causing the installation of the applications on different servers.
- The method involves retrieving first and second code from the registry to initiate the installation process.
- The first code is executable to receive information generated by the execution of the second code.
- The specific instance of the second part of the application is deployed on a second server using identified code.
- Information is received and used to deploy a specific instance of the first part of the application on a first server, configured to communicate with the second part.
Potential Applications
This technology could be applied in cloud computing environments to automate the deployment of applications across multiple servers.
Problems Solved
This method streamlines the process of deploying specific instances of applications, reducing manual intervention and potential errors in the installation process.
Benefits
- Efficient deployment of applications - Automation of installation process - Improved communication between application parts
Potential Commercial Applications
"Automated Deployment of Applications in Cloud Environments"
Possible Prior Art
There may be prior art related to automated deployment systems in cloud computing environments, but specific examples are not provided in the abstract.
Unanswered Questions
How does this method ensure the security of the deployed applications?
The abstract does not mention any security measures or protocols implemented to protect the deployed applications.
What is the scalability of this deployment method for large-scale applications?
The abstract does not address how this method can handle the deployment of large-scale applications across multiple servers.
Original Abstract Submitted
Implementations(s) for deploying application(s) are described. Responsive to an indication to install a specific instance of an application registered in a registry, first and second code are retrieved from the registry to cause the installation. Responsive to the first and second code, it is detected that the first code is executable to receive information that will be generated responsive to execution of the second code; the specific instance of the second part of the application is caused to be deployed on the second TS using the fourth code identified in the second code; the information is received; and a specific instance of the first part of the application is caused to be deployed on the first TS using the third code identified in the first code and to be configured to communicate with the specific instance of the second part of the application using the information.
