Deduplication of Non-Fungible Tokens in Search Index - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18043350 titled 'Deduplication of Non-Fungible Tokens in Search Index

The abstract of this patent application describes systems and methods for indexing non-fungible tokens, including identifying token data, indexing tokens multiple times, and adjusting the index database based on duplicate token indexing.

  • The systems and methods obtain and identify token data associated with non-fungible tokens.
  • Tokens may be indexed multiple times and tokens with similar payloads may be indexed.
  • Duplicate token indexing is identified and the index database is adjusted accordingly.
  • The adjustment affects the search results surfaced in response to a search query.

Potential Applications: - Cryptocurrency platforms - Digital asset management systems - Online marketplaces for unique digital items

Problems Solved: - Efficient organization and retrieval of non-fungible token data - Improved search result relevance for users - Prevention of duplicate token indexing errors

Benefits: - Enhanced user experience in searching for non-fungible tokens - Increased accuracy in indexing and retrieval of token data - Streamlined management of large token databases

Commercial Applications: Title: "Enhanced Non-Fungible Token Indexing Technology for Digital Asset Platforms" This technology can be used in cryptocurrency exchanges, digital collectibles marketplaces, and online gaming platforms to improve the organization and searchability of non-fungible tokens, enhancing user experience and platform efficiency.

Questions about Non-Fungible Token Indexing: 1. How does this technology impact the scalability of digital asset platforms?

This technology improves the efficiency of indexing and retrieval, making it easier to manage large databases of non-fungible tokens.

2. What are the potential security implications of using this indexing system?

The system enhances data organization and retrieval, which can contribute to better security measures for digital asset platforms.

Original Abstract Submitted

Systems and methods for non-fungible token indexing can include obtaining and identifying token data associated with a plurality of non-fungible tokens. In generating an index database, the systems and methods may index a token multiple times and/or may index tokens with same or similar payloads. The systems and methods can identify the duplicate token indexing and can adjust the index database based on the identification of duplicate token index data. The adjustment can affect the determination of which search results to surface in response to a search query.
