DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18041073 titled 'DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
The abstract describes a display panel with a touch control structure consisting of first mesh electrodes and second mesh electrodes. The first mesh electrodes have consecutive first mesh blocks along one direction, while the second mesh electrodes have consecutive second mesh blocks along another direction. Adjacent first mesh blocks are connected through first conductive bridges, which include spaced-apart first single mesh lines in a different layer from the mesh blocks.
- The display panel features a touch control structure with first and second mesh electrodes.
- The first mesh electrodes have consecutive blocks along one direction, while the second mesh electrodes have consecutive blocks along another direction.
- Adjacent first mesh blocks are connected through first conductive bridges, which include spaced-apart single mesh lines.
- The first conductive bridges are in a different layer from the mesh blocks, enhancing the panel's functionality.

Original Abstract Submitted
A display panel is provided. The display panel includes a touch control structure. The touch control structure includes a plurality of first mesh electrodes and a plurality of second mesh electrodes. A respective one of the plurality of first mesh electrodes includes a plurality of first mesh blocks consecutively electrically connected along a first direction. A respective one of the plurality of second mesh electrodes includes a plurality of second mesh blocks consecutively electrically connected along a second direction. Two adjacent first mesh blocks of the plurality of first mesh blocks are electrically connected to each other through a respective first conductive bridge. The respective first conductive bridge includes a plurality of first single mesh lines spaced apart from each other, and in a layer different from the plurality of first mesh blocks and the plurality of second mesh blocks.
