Real-Time Micro-Profile Generation Using a Dynamic Tree Structure - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18009426 titled 'Real-Time Micro-Profile Generation Using a Dynamic Tree Structure
The abstract describes a system that generates real-time micro-profiles using a dynamic tree structure. The system processes voice queries, identifies relevant historical searches, and creates a tree structure with pivot points and child nodes to guide the user through the information retrieval process.
- The system receives a voice query and generates a pivot point in a tree structure based on related historical searches.
- An audio prompt is outputted to request the selection of a child node within the tree structure.
- The system receives a voice input selecting a child node and generates a new pivot point with grandchild nodes based on historical searches related to the selected child node.
- A resource reduction policy is applied to determine when to generate a checkpoint to optimize the generation of additional child nodes.
- A micro-profile for an electronic account identifier is built based on the tree structure and user interactions.
Potential Applications: - Information retrieval systems - Personalized recommendation engines - Voice-activated assistants
Problems Solved: - Efficient generation of personalized profiles - Streamlining information retrieval processes - Reducing resource consumption in data processing
Benefits: - Enhanced user experience - Tailored information delivery - Resource optimization in data processing
Commercial Applications: Title: Real-time Personalized Profile Generation System This technology can be utilized in customer service applications, e-commerce platforms, and personalized content delivery services to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
Questions about Real-time Micro-profile Generating Using a Dynamic Tree Structure: 1. How does the system determine the pivot points in the tree structure? The system identifies pivot points based on historical searches related to the user's voice query, ensuring relevance and efficiency in information retrieval.
2. What is the significance of the resource reduction policy in generating checkpoints? The resource reduction policy helps optimize the generation of child nodes in the tree structure, ensuring efficient use of resources and enhancing the overall performance of the system.
Original Abstract Submitted
Real-time micro-profile generating using a dynamic tree structure is provided. A system receives a first voice query. The system generates, from historical searches related to the first voice query, a first pivot point in a tree structure for the first voice query having child nodes. The system outputs an audio prompt to request selection of one of the child nodes. The system receives, responsive to the audio prompt, a voice input with a selection of a first child node. The system generates, from historical searches related to the first child node, a second pivot point in the tree structure including grandchild nodes. The system determines, based on a resource reduction policy, to generate a checkpoint to reduce additional child node generation. The system builds, based on a response to the checkpoint, a micro-profile for the electronic account identifier with the tree structure.
