Patent Applications by Zoom Video Communications, Inc.

20240338165. Client-Side Composite Video Stream Processing_simplified_abstract_(zoom video communications, inc.)

Inventor(s): Zhichu He of Hangzhou (CN) for zoom video communications, inc., Yi Guo of Hangzhou (CN) for zoom video communications, inc., Bo Ling of Saratoga CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Jing Wu of Hangzhou (CN) for zoom video communications, inc., Yichen Zhang of Hangzhou (CN) for zoom video communications, inc.

IPC Code(s): G06F3/14, H04N7/15

CPC Code(s): G06F3/1454

Abstract: methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media related to multi-stream video encoding for screen sharing a communications session. the system may determine an active pixel area and a remaining pixel area of a video region. of a video region. a first video stream of the active pixel area is generated at a first frame rate. a second video stream of the remaining pixel area is generated at second frame rate, where the second frame rate is a frame rate lower than the first frame rate. a client device may transmit the first video stream and the second video stream to a second client device.

20240338628. RULE-BASED AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED HYBRID ANALYTICS FOR ACTION FACILITATION_simplified_abstract_(zoom video communications, inc.)

Inventor(s): Wei Ji of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Bilung Lee of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Prasad Methil of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Vijay Venkataswamy Parthasarathy of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc.

IPC Code(s): G06Q10/0635, G06Q10/0637, G06Q10/10

CPC Code(s): G06Q10/0635

Abstract: systems and methods for providing rule-based and ai-based hybrid analytics to facilitate actions for a project are provided. a communication analytics platform accesses project metadata and communication data associated with a project. the communication analytics platform determines a first risk score of the project based on the project metadata and the communication data using a rule-based analytics model. the communication analytics platform determines a second risk score of the project based on the project metadata and the communication data using an artificial intelligence (ai)-based analytics model. the communication analytics platform determines a risk level of the project based on the first risk score and the second risk score. the communication analytics platform provides a notification message based on the risk level to a user associated with the project.

20240340376. Reconnecting To A Node Of An Interactive Voice Response Service_simplified_abstract_(zoom video communications, inc.)

Inventor(s): Vi Dinh Chau of Seattle WA (US) for zoom video communications, inc.

IPC Code(s): H04M3/51, H04M3/02, H04M3/493

CPC Code(s): H04M3/5166

Abstract: message-based interactive voice response (ivr) menu reconnection is used to reconnect a calling device to a destination at a specific node of a call path after the calling device disconnects from a call with the destination. menu options of an ivr service presented during a call between the calling device and the destination are determined responsive to the calling device disconnecting from the call. a message including one or more selectable elements each associated with one of the menu options is then transmitted to the calling device. responsive to a selection of a selectable element at the calling device, the calling device is connected to a destination endpoint. thus, where the calling device had partially or fully traversed an ivr service during the call, the message-based ivr menu reconnection disclosed herein enables the calling device to reconnect to the destination without having to repeat that ivr service traversal.
