CPC Code(s): H04L1/08
Abstract: scrolling motion is detected within a video stream to output an indication of a scrolling motion vector for use in encoding a current picture of the video stream. a first line of pixels within a motion region of the current picture is identified. a second line of pixels matching the first line of pixels is identified within a last played picture of the video stream. the scrolling motion vector is determined based on a comparison of lines of pixels nearby the second line of pixels within the last played picture. the indication of the scrolling motion vector is then output for use in encoding the current picture.

IPC Code(s): H04L65/403
CPC Code(s): H04L65/403
Abstract: systems and methods for aggregation and distribution of diverse multimedia feeds are provided herein. in an aspect, a method including establishing, by a video conference provider, a virtual meeting having a plurality of participants is provided. each participant joined to the virtual meeting may use a respective client device to exchange one or more audio or video streams via the virtual meeting. the method may also include receiving, from a first client device, a request to share a multimedia stream from an external source with one or more of the client devices during the virtual meeting. responsive to the request, the method may include receiving a connection to the multimedia stream from the external source and transmitting, by the video conference provider, the multimedia stream from the external source to the one or more client devices via the virtual meeting.

Abstract: a system may connect user devices to a virtual whiteboard configured to output visual content to displays of the user devices. the system may invoke a video conference from the whiteboard to transmit, to the user devices, a message configured to connect the user devices to the video conference, and instantiate the whiteboard including the visual content output to the displays of the user devices within the video conference. in some implementations, the message may include context information (e.g., a title associated with the whiteboard, participants of the video conference, or an elapsed time of the video conference). in some implementations, the system may configure a graphical user interface (gui) indicating users of the whiteboard. the gui may be configured to receive selections of users to invite to the video conference.

CPC Code(s): H04N7/157
Abstract: a lighting setting for detecting a low light environment associated with a user in a video communication session is received from a client device associated with the user. imagery of the user within at least one frame of video content of the video communication session is detected. an illumination of the at least one frame is modified based on the lighting setting, to obtain a modified frame, by diffusing light to achieve at least a semi-evenly lit frame. the modified frame can then be transmitted to other users of the video communication session.
