System and Method of Using a Virtual Focal Point in Real Physical Game - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240238673 titled 'System and Method of Using a Virtual Focal Point in Real Physical Game

The present invention discloses a gaming system that involves multiple computing devices, where one computing device initially displays an active state of a virtual focal point (VFP), while another computing device shows an inactive state of the same VFP instance. The active state of the VFP instance can be transferred from one computing device to another.

  • The gaming system consists of multiple computing devices.
  • One computing device exhibits an active state of a virtual focal point (VFP).
  • Another computing device displays an inactive state of the same VFP instance.
  • The active state of the VFP instance can be transferred between computing devices.

Potential Applications: - Multiplayer gaming experiences - Interactive virtual reality environments - Collaborative problem-solving scenarios

Problems Solved: - Enhancing user engagement in gaming - Facilitating seamless transitions between devices - Promoting teamwork and communication in virtual environments

Benefits: - Improved gaming dynamics - Enhanced user interaction - Increased immersion in virtual worlds

Commercial Applications: Title: "Enhancing Multiplayer Gaming Experiences with Dynamic Virtual Focal Points" This technology could be utilized in the development of multiplayer games, virtual reality experiences, and team-building simulations. It has the potential to attract a wide range of users looking for interactive and engaging gaming experiences.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the transfer of the VFP instance between computing devices impact gameplay? 2. What are the technical requirements for implementing this gaming system across different devices?

Original Abstract Submitted

the present invention discloses a gaming system that is comprised of a plurality of computing devices, where a computing device initially exhibits an active state of an instance of a virtual focal point (vfp), and another computing device initially exhibit an in-active state of the instance of the virtual focal point of the computing device. the active state of the instance of the vfp of the computing device may be transferred to the other computing device with the in-active state of the instance of the vfp.
