NESTED BLOCKCHAIN SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240259209 titled 'NESTED BLOCKCHAIN SYSTEM

The abstract describes a nested blockchain system with distributed nodes in a network. A node generates a master cryptographically verifiable distributed ledger and spawns a first sub ledger in response to events.

  • Simplified Explanation:

The patent application discusses a system where nodes in a network create secure ledgers in response to specific events.

  • Key Features and Innovation:

- Nested blockchain system with distributed nodes - Generation of master cryptographically verifiable ledger - Creation of sub ledgers in response to events - Purging of sub ledger in response to specific events

  • Potential Applications:

- Financial transactions - Supply chain management - Healthcare records management

  • Problems Solved:

- Ensuring secure and verifiable ledger systems - Efficient management of distributed nodes - Handling events that trigger ledger creation and purging

  • Benefits:

- Enhanced security and verification - Improved data management - Scalability for large networks

  • Commercial Applications:

Title: Secure Ledger Management System for Various Industries This technology can be applied in finance, logistics, and healthcare industries to manage secure and verifiable ledgers efficiently.

  • Prior Art:

Readers can explore prior research on blockchain technology, distributed ledger systems, and event-triggered data management.

  • Frequently Updated Research:

Stay updated on advancements in blockchain technology, distributed systems, and secure ledger management for potential improvements in the nested blockchain system.

Questions about Nested Blockchain System: 1. How does the system ensure the security of the generated ledgers? 2. What are the potential challenges in scaling this system for larger networks?

Original Abstract Submitted

described in detail herein is a nested blockchain system. the nested blockchain system can include distributed nodes in a network. a node is configured to generate a master cryptographically verifiable distributed ledger represented by a sequence of blocks. the node spawns a first sub cryptographically verifiable ledger represented by a first genesis block containing a hash value referencing the first block generated in the master cryptographically verifiable ledger, in response to a first event. the node purges the first sub cryptographically verifiable ledger, in response to a second event.
