Original Abstract Submitted

this document discloses a mobile radio device with conferencing capabilities. the mobile radio device can connect to a conferencing session. the mobile radio device can include a push-to-talk (ptt) button that controls the transmission or reception of data to or from other devices connected to the video conferencing session. for example, audio data collected by the mobile radio device while the ptt button is pressed can be transmitted to other devices connected to the video conferencing session and output by speakers at these devices. when the ptt button is released, the mobile radio device can be muted in the video conferencing session. in general, the mobile radio device can enable a worker to participate in a conference (e.g., conference call, video conference) while in the field. in doing so, worker accessibility may be improved, which can limit safety concerns and increase productivity.
