a vehicle-to-vehicle communication device and method for communicating with a plurality of vehicles are disclosed. the device comprises a first communication unit of a vehicle configured to communicate with a second communication unit of at least one or more vehicles when in range. the first communication unit communicates with the second communication unit via a communication protocol. the communication protocol is short radio frequencies or the like. the device alerts or indicates users or drivers about the presence of other off-roading vehicles nearby or in proximity to avoid collision during traveling. the alert is given either through an audio signal or light. the device communicates with other devices with similar communication protocols to facilitate the users where vehicles cannot be seen approaching such as along blind curves, sand dunes, etc. further, the communication device is placed anywhere in the vehicle such as on the handlebars or near the steering wheel.
