DYNAMIC INDICATION OF UPLINK TRANSMISSION PARAMETERS VIA CONFIGURED GRANT-UCI (CG-UCI) - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18006427 titled 'DYNAMIC INDICATION OF UPLINK TRANSMISSION PARAMETERS VIA CONFIGURED GRANT-UCI (CG-UCI)
Simplified Explanation
This patent application describes wireless communication systems and methods for indicating uplink transmission parameters. Here are the key points:
- The system involves a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS).
- The UE receives a configuration from the BS, which includes a grant resource and a transmission parameter associated with that resource.
- The UE determines a different transmission parameter for transmitting a data block in the grant resource.
- The UE then transmits the data block to the BS in the grant resource, along with configured grant-uplink control information (CG-UCI) indicating the second transmission parameter.
- The data block is transmitted based on the second transmission parameter, which is different from the first transmission parameter.
Original Abstract Submitted
Wireless communication systems and methods related to dynamic indications of uplink transmission parameters via configured grant-UCI (CG-UCI) are provided. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a first configuration indicating a first configured grant (CG) resource and a first transmission parameter associated with the first CG resource. The UE determines a second transmission parameter for transmitting a data block in the first CG resource. The second transmission parameter is different from the first transmission parameter. The UE transmits, to the BS in the first CG resource, a transmission including the data block and configured grant-uplink control information (CG-UCI) indicating the second transmission parameter, where the data block is transmitted based on the second transmission parameter.
