the disclosure relates to user equipment (ue) identifier (id) exposure. in an embodiment, there proposes a method performed by a first network function implementing application data management function in a data network, comprising: receiving, from a ue, a first message comprising ue information indicating a dynamic ue identity; and based on the received ue information, obtaining, from a second network function in a mobile communication network, a static ue id to be exposed. with embodiments herein, the solution provides a way to obtain a static ue id for the ue so that ue can identify itself with such id to further communicate with the edge enabler server or the edge configuration server.
