REFERENCE SIGNALING FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240235912 titled 'REFERENCE SIGNALING FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
The abstract describes a method of operating a signaling radio node in a wireless communication network by transmitting reference signaling with a specific time and frequency domain distribution pattern.
- The method involves transmitting reference signaling with a pattern comprising n blocks, each block containing multiple symbols.
- For each symbol in the first block of n blocks, the reference signaling is transmitted with a first frequency domain distribution, while for each symbol in the second block, it is transmitted with a second frequency domain distribution.
- The first and second frequency domain distributions are different from each other, providing unique characteristics to the reference signaling.
- This innovation allows for efficient signaling in wireless communication networks, enhancing network performance and reliability.
- The method can be implemented in various signaling radio nodes to improve communication quality and network efficiency.
Potential Applications: - Wireless communication networks - Cellular networks - Internet of Things (IoT) devices - 5G and beyond technologies
Problems Solved: - Efficient signaling transmission - Improved network performance - Enhanced reliability in wireless communication
Benefits: - Enhanced network efficiency - Improved communication quality - Better signal reliability
Commercial Applications: Title: Enhanced Signaling Method for Wireless Networks This technology can be utilized by telecommunications companies, network operators, and IoT device manufacturers to improve the performance and reliability of wireless communication networks. It can lead to better user experiences, increased network capacity, and more efficient use of network resources.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does the unique frequency domain distribution pattern of the reference signaling improve network performance? 2. What are the potential challenges in implementing this method in existing wireless communication networks?
Original Abstract Submitted
there is disclosed a method of operating a signaling radio node in a wireless communication network. the method includes transmitting reference signaling, the reference signaling having a pattern comprising, in time domain, n blocks, each block having a plurality of symbols, wherein for each symbol of a first block of the n blocks, the reference signaling is transmitted having a first frequency domain distribution, and for each symbol of a second block of the n blocks, the reference signaling is transmitted having a second frequency domain distribution, the first frequency domain distribution being different from the second frequency domain distribution. the disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
