there is provided a ribbon cartridge, in which a cartridge case includes a first case portion, and a second case portion provided in a first direction with respect to the first case portion, and combined with the first case portion, the second case portion includes a second a case portion, and a second b case portion made of a member different from a member of the second a case portion, the cartridge case is provided with a cartridge-side tape inlet provided between the second a case portion and the second b case portion, a cartridge-side tape outlet, and a tape path from the cartridge-side tape inlet to the cartridge-side tape outlet, and the second a case portion is configured to open and close a first path from the cartridge-side tape inlet to a middle of the tape path, in the first direction.
