there is provided a method, a user equipment and a system for sidelink communication. the method for sidelink communication includes: a user equipment (ue) requesting a base station (gnb) to transmit a sidelink resource in response to a sidelink communication request, determining whether an available sidelink resource is received from the gnb, and performing the sidelink communication using a pre-configured sidelink resource for the sidelink communication based on a determination that the available sidelink resource is not received from the gnb and based on a determination that the pre-configured sidelink resource is available.
