according to an embodiment, a processor of a wearable device displays a first visual object associated with a position viewed through field of view (fov) of a first user. the processor obtains, based on identifying an external electronic device connected to the wearable device, a state of the external electronic device. the processor identifies, based on the state of the external electronic device corresponding to a preset state for displaying a visual object associated with the position, a cluster common to the first user and a second user of the external electronic device. the processor adjusts, based on the identified cluster, the first visual object viewed through the fov to a second visual object indicated by the cluster.
